Humane Society to Host Yoga With Cats on April 9

The Montgomery County Humane Society is inviting residents to an event titled, “Yoga with Cats,” on April 9 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The class will include yoga poses, relaxation exercises, and MCHS’ adoptable cats.

“It’s a great way to feature the cats available for adoption,” said Kathy Dillon, volunteer and special events manager for MCHS.

Dillon said no previous yoga experience is needed to join the class.

Participants should be at least 16 years of age and are required to being their own yoga mats.

Staff is asking for a $20 contribution.
