HUBZone Workshop on Dec. 12 in Gaithersburg

The city of Gaithersburg Department of Economic Development is joining with the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development to host a workshop entitled “Using HUBZones as a Contracting Advantage.”

The free workshop will take place on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Hampton Inn, 960 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg.

Representatives from the city of Gaithersburg Department of Economic Development, the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development, the Small Business Administration, and business owners will be on hand to explore the advantages of HUBZone certification and discuss how and when to make the decisions necessary to become certified.
