How to Volunteer During the COVID-19 Epidemic

Volunteering

Montgomery County Volunteer Center has published a website with information on how people can volunteer during the COVID-19 emergency. The website provides information about organizations, resources and tips on how to be safe while volunteering.

According to the website, some of the ways people can volunteer include:

  • Volunteering for emergency response needs
  • Donating items and/or financial support
  • Donating blood to the Red Cross
  • Volunteering for “Disaster Response” organizations

The website also includes community organizations and resources such as Teens Helping Seniors, Covaid Mutual Aid Connector and Communities Unbreakable Rockville.
