House Fire on Connecticut Avenue

This just in: Montgomery County firefighters are on the scene of a house fire at 6800 Connecticut Avenue.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 28, Assistant Chief Scott Graham reported on his Twitter account that heavy fire was visible on multiple levels.

Thirty minutes later, Graham said the fire was out and there were no injuries. According to Graham, firefighters are now trying to figure out what caused the blaze and the extent of damage to the structure.

No other information has been released at this time.
