
House Fire in Silver Spring Causes $250,000 in Damage (PHOTOS)
Montgomery County firefighters are investigating the cause of a Silver Spring house fire.
It happened around 1:40 a.m. at an abandoned two-story single family home located on the 400 block of Norwood Road. Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said that more than 45 firefighters were on scene and were able to bring the fire under control.
According to Piringer, no injuries were reported and damages are estimated at $250,000.
