House Fire in North Potomac (Photos)
Over 60 Montgomery County firefighters responded to a house fire in the 13600 block of Pine View Lane in North Potomac on April 11.
Pete Piringer, the public information officer for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, described efforts to extinguish the blaze as a “firefight” on his Twitter account. Piringer said four occupants escaped the house fire and the family is displaced.
According to Piringer, damage is estimated at $750,000 and the cause of the blaze is believed to be accidental.
