Honoring Montgomery County’s World War ll Veterans (Video)
Montgomery County honored local World War ll veterans at a ceremony at the Silver Spring Civic Building earlier this year. Hundreds of local veterans attended the service. Although it’s been 70 some years, MyMCMedia Sonya Burke reports that the memories of the war still are painful for the veterans to talk about today and that’s why they appreciate the salute all the more.
