Holiday Music at Kentlands Mansion
Carmina chamber choir will perform Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at Kentlands Mansion, 320 Kent Square Road in Gaithersburg. Early music chamber choir Carmina returns to Kentlands with a joyous holiday program featuring Spanish villancicos, medieval carols, and traditional favorites including Biebl’s Ave Maria. Pianist Steven Alan Honley will offer holiday musical fare at intermission while complimentary desserts are served.
Carmina, founded by artistic director Vera Kochanowsky and conducted by director Hubert Beckwith, has been performing in the Washington, D.C. area since 1998. The chamber choir is devoted to exploring the diverse musical styles of early music. For more information, visit the Carmina website.
