Here’s What You Can Expect When Sunday Morning Bakehouse Opens in 2019

When Chef Caroline Yi opens her storefront full of her handmade croissants and pastries next year in Pike and Rose, she’s planning to fill the bakery with more than her passion for baking.

Yi, who grew up right here in Montgomery County, says she hopes that Sunday Morning Bakehouse brings a sense of family.

“My dad worked Monday through Saturday, and Sundays were the only days that we would have the whole family together,” said Yi.  “Sunday mornings meant my dad was going to be home, we could all eat breakfast together. [Sunday mornings] really means home for me.”
