Here’s How Your Neighborhood Organization Can Get (Up to) $1K from County for Events
Montgomery County organizations can now apply for a grant, funded by the county, to hold events and activities for their communities.
The Neighborhood Events Matching Funds program was established amid requests from neighborhood groups asking for assistance to promote community engagement, networking and to stimulate the local economy.
The maximum grant amount is $1,000. Funds must be matched dollar for dollar with cash or in-kind donations and the event must take place between now and June 30, 2018.
Completed applications must be returned to the applicant’s Regional Services Center.
There is no deadline to submit an application.
