Original post:
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood watch for Montgomery County for Monday from 2 p.m. through this evening. Flooding caused by heavy rainfall is possible.
The NWS expects widespread showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. Showers may move repeatedly over the same areas and produce intense rainfall rates in a short period of time, which could lead to flash flooding.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.
The NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Montgomery County beginning 2PM Monday, 6/17. Expect heavy rainfall that may produce flooding this afternoon into tonight. More info: https://t.co/z6ZOaOW1aO #mdwx
