Heat Index Could Reach 100, Possible Hail Storm Wednesday Afternoon
Extremely high temperatures are expected to be met with severe storms Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery County.
Weather forecasts are projecting a possible hail storm, with wind gusts reaching up to over 2o miles an hour. Temperatures are expected to peak in the upper 90s with high levels of humidity throughout the afternoon as well.
According to the Baltimore/Washington National Weather Service, Potomac Highlands is at the highest risk for the hail storm in the afternoon.
