Have No Fear, Montgomery County Offers Many Halloween Happenings

With Halloween creeping up next week, there are many festive family-friendly events in the county to take part in. 

Check out a few frightfully fun events below. 

PIKEkids Trick-Or-Treat: From 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 26, children in costumes can celebrate Halloween at Pike & Rose shops and restaurants. At Pike & Rose, 11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda. Trick-or-Treat at the Museum: From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 31, children in costume can stop by the Gaithersburg Community Museum to make a Halloween craft and get a Halloween prize. At the Gaithersburg Community Museum, 9 South Summit Ave., Gaithersburg. Free. Click here for more information. 

Chevy Chase Village Halloween Party: On Oct. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., children and adults can join the Chevy Chase Village Halloween Party. There will be a costume contest, games, crafts and a haunted house. At Chevy Chase Village Hall, 5906 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase. Free. Click here for more information. 

BOO! A Safe Halloween Event at Ellsworth Place: On Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., families can come to Ellsworth Place for an evening of trick-or-treating, a costume contest, pumpkin carving and more. At  Ellsworth Place, 8661 Colesville Road, Silver Spring. Free. Click here for more information.
