Has Your Street Been Plowed?
Has your Montgomery County street been plowed?
Montgomery County officials are updating residents about the status of treatment and plowing of roads by posting winter weather updates on the county’s website.
According to the latest update, by mid-afternoon on Jan. 6 all the County major arterials and secondary roadways had been treated and plowed.
If needed, crews will continue to work into the early morning hours of Jan. 7 until all neighborhood streets have been treated and plowed, officials said.
County officials said crews will be back to treat and plow major arterials before Wednesday morning’s rush hour. If additional work is needed in neighborhoods, it will begin after the retreatment of major and secondary roads.
On Wednesday morning, residents with information about a neighborhood street that still requires treatment or plowing, should call 3-1-1 (or 240-777-0311), beginning at 7 a.m.
That information will be immediately forwarded to Highway Operations crews, officials said.
