Wheaton Haunted Train & Creepy Carousel

The Wheaton Haunted Train (and Creepy Carousel) rides again! We do our very best to scare our passengers, so this event is best suited to children ages 8 and up (probably too scary for younger children). You’ll meet ghouls, goblins and blood-covered zombies as you wind through the woods, so be prepared to scream!

Each ticket is good for one ride on the CP Hauntington and one ride on the Creepy Carousel. We’ll also show free scary Halloween movies, and have light refreshments for sale. Costumes are encouraged!

Please bring canned food donations for your neighbors in need–we’ll give them to Metropolitan United Ministries.

TIcket price is $5 for each passenger (children under the age of 2 are free with a paying adult).

NEW THIS YEAR! Tickets for all dates are available online at ParkPASS.org beginning October 1. Same-day tickets will be available at the train station beginning at 2pm each day the train runs. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your chosen departure time.

Cabin John ‘Eye Spy’ Halloween Train

Here’s a not-so-scary Halloween option from Montgomery Parks, with just enough boo-power for the younger (8 and under) kids. Take a ride through the haunted forest and find familiar friends hiding in the woods. How many things on your ‘Eye Spy’ card can you find and mark off? While you’re waiting for the train, enjoy silly, spooky Halloween movies and fun activities. Costumes are encouraged!

NEW THIS YEAR! Get your Eye Spy train tickets online at ParkPASS.org beginning October 1.

Same-day advance tickets with boarding times will be available for purchase starting at 2pm at the train station on days the train is running. $5 covers all attractions; children under the age of 2 are free with a paying adult.

Please bring canned food donations for your neighbors in need; we’ll give them to Manna Food.
