Grocery Stores Open on Thanksgiving Day

Several local grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, most with somewhat limited hours. Store hours may vary so it is wise to call to confirm opening hours before heading to the store.

Giant: 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Safeway: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wegmans in Germantown: 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Whole Foods:
Bethesda: 8 a.m – 4 p.m.
Chevy Chase: 8 a.m. – 5 p. m.
Kentlands: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Rockville: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Silver Spring: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Harris Teeter stores that are normally open 24 hours will be closing at 2 p.m.

Giant, Safeway, and Harris Teeter pharmacies are closed Thanksgiving Day.
