Green Up Gaithersburg
Spring cleaning takes on new meaning during this year’s community-wide Green Up weekend from 9- a.m. – noon on April 11 and April 12 in Gaithersburg.
Hundreds of volunteers across the city are scheduled to to clean up and beautify local streams, schools, parks and homeowner association common areas during this environmental event.
The cleanups are scheduled at the following locations on April 11, which is considered Green Up Day in Gaithersburg:
Central Avenue
Meet near 200 Central Avenue
10 a.m. until noon
Neighborhood cleanup
Lakelands
Meet at Lakelands Clubhouse at 960 Main Street
9 a.m. until noon
Community cleanup
Long Draught Branch at Rabbit Road
Hosted by St. Rose of Lima Catholic Parish
Quince Orchard Park Community Center, 500 Highland Ridge Avenue
9 a.m. to noon
Community cleanup
Washingtonian Woods
Hosted by the Muddy Branch Alliance
Meet at Washingtonian Woods Clubhouse, 511 Midsummer Drive
9 a.m. to noon

Watkins Mill Town Center
