Governor Orders State Flag to Half Staff in Honor of Firefighter

marylandflag-1Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the state flag to be flown at half staff until sunset on Nov. 20.

This is in honor of Firefighter James E. Bethea, a 40-year veteran of the Baltimore City Fire Department, who died on November 12 as a result of injuries suffered in the line of duty.
