Governor Orders State Flag to Half Staff

Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the Maryland State Flag to be flown at half-staff immediately.

This is in honor of Police Officer First Class Jason Schneider, a 13-year veteran of the Baltimore County Police Department, who died today in the line of duty. The flag shall continue to be flown at half-staff until sunset on August 31.
