Governor Larry Hogan on Shootings: “Praying for the Victims”

MM shooting 6Maryland Governor Larry Hogan released the following statement about the shootings in Montgomery County and Prince George’s counties:

“I want to offer my sincere thanks to the Montgomery and Prince George’s County Police Departments, as well as the Maryland State Police and all of the first responders who have been working diligently to keep everyone safe following three separate shootings in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties yesterday and today. The First Lady and I will be praying for the victims of these shootings who are still in the hospital, as well as for the families of those who have lost loved ones in these senseless acts of violence.

“Although a suspect has been apprehended, I am urging Marylanders to continue to follow news and social media feeds for accurate information from police and other authorities. Maryland is home to some of the finest police officers and police departments in the country and I am deeply proud of the work they do each and every day.”
