Governor Larry Hogan Ends State of Emergency in Maryland

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan today signed an Executive Order, which rescinds the current State of Emergency in Maryland that was enacted on January 22nd in response to severe winter weather.

“The entire state of Maryland was impacted by the most significant and widespread storm our state has ever experienced, but together – thanks to the efforts of so many state employees, members of our law enforcement and National Guard, emergency responders, highways workers, and volunteers – we responded effectively and efficiently,” said Hogan. “Most importantly, I want to thank the people of Maryland, who showed tremendous patience and resilience both responding to and recovering from this historic storm.”
