Governor Hogan Orders State Flag to Half Staff in Memory of Delegate Minnick (PHOTO)

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the Maryland State Flag to be flown at half-staff effective at sunrise, Friday, October 16 and returned to full-staff at sunset.

The Governor has ordered the state flag to half staff in honor of former Maryland Delegate Joseph J. ‘Sonny’ Minnick, who died on Monday, October 12. Delegate Joseph J. ‘Sonny’ Minnick represented District 6 for Baltimore County.
