Governor Congratulates President Obama

Governor Martin O’Malley released the following statement on President Barack Obama’s “victory” on election night:

“Marylanders have chosen – along with the majority of Americans – to move forward with President Barack Obama.

“In choosing to re-elect the President, Americans have spoken clearly: we do not want to live in a country of less; we choose to live in a country of more opportunity – a country which creates jobs by investing in education, innovation, and a 21^st century infrastructure.

“Congratulations, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.”
