Goodnight Moon Reopens at Glen Echo Park

Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) officials have announced they will reopen their production of Goodnight Moon located at Glen Echo Park on Oct. 19.

The federal government shutdown forced ATMTC to cancel 19 performances of Goodnight Moon at Glen Echo Park resulting in a loss of over $60,000.

With the Park reopened, ATMTC will extend the show through Nov. 3. Additional weekend performances at 4:30 and 7 p.m. have also been added to the schedule to accommodate ticketed patrons.

Added performances include:

Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
Oct. 20 at 4:30 & 7 p.m.
Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
Oct. 27 at 4:30 & 7 p.m.
Oct. 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Oct. 30 at 10:30 a.m.
Oct. 31 at 10:30 a.m.
Nov. 1 at 10:30 a.m & 7 p.m.
Nov. 2 at 11 a.m., 2, 4:30, & 7 p.m.
Nov. 3 at 11 a.m., 2, 4:30, & 7 p.m.

Bobbitt, Producing Artistic Director and Choreographer of Goodnight Moon. “We have been working tirelessly too with the actors to try to extend the run to accommodate all patrons with tickets, and we are so grateful to all our audience members who have been really amazing during this difficult time for the theatre. We want to give them the best show possible, and they will not be disappointed.”

In addition to the added shows, performances will run as scheduled for October 19-27.
