Girl Falls Out Window

UPDATED

A three-year-old girl is in serious condition after falling four stories (March 25) from a 4th floor apartment window in the 3800 block of Bel Pre Road today.

Officer Bob Ladany said the call came in at 9:11 a.m. and the child was transported to Holy Cross Hospital for initial treatment. She was then moved to Children’s Hospital, police said, where she remains in serious but stable condition. Police have determined that two adult family members were home at the time of the fall.

As is protocol, police said, detectives from the Family Crimes Division are investigating the circumstances surrounding this accident.
