GGCC Honors Its Chamber Stars

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) honored its “Chamber Stars” at the Business Networking After Five event on Thursday, September 17. The event was held at and sponsored by Smokey Glen Farm Barbequers, Inc. in Gaithersburg.

The GGCC is recognizing Chamber Members who have been members for 10+, 20+ & 30+ years. It’s their way of saying thank you to their members.

“The sign of a good business is when customers keep coming back. The GGCC is blessed with a large number of members who have been with us for a long time – 10 years, 20 years, over 30 years. It was high-time that we recognized them. They are truly our Chamber Stars,” said Marilyn Balcombe, GGCC President.

At the picnic, 17 GGCC Members received a “You’re a Star” star as a token of appreciation. 85 of 400 GGCC members are eligible to receive stars this year. The GGCC will continue to deliver stars to its members throughout the remainder of the year.
