GGCC Annual Business Golf Classic Slated for September
The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce will hold its 23rd Annual Business Golf Classic on Friday, September 12 from 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Worthington Manor Golf Course, 8329 Fingerboard Road in Urbana. There will be a Noon shotgun.
Businesses are invited to grow their business & play golf at the same time. This tournament is intended to offer enjoyable golf and the opportunity to network. Meet business owners, representatives and supporters of business as you complete your round. Incredible prizes, golf contests, food and drinks await you on this unique golf experience.
Tournament Schedule:
Driving Range Open: 10:30 a.m.
Registration Begins: 10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.
Shotgun Start: Noon
Award Reception: 5 p.m.

Sponsorships are now available and golfers are wanted. A Portion of the proceeds supports the Montgomery College Scholarship Fund.

Laura is the Director of Events & Marketing for the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce - a member-based organization of businesses that have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic, commercial and industrial progress in our communities. At the GGCC, we typically have around 30 events each year including: breakfasts, lunches, after-five's, ribbon cuttings and special events. The consensus is we have high quality events with good energy. In 2012, we had over 2,040 people visit our events. Most our events are free to Members so securing sponsorships for all events. Additionally, I am responsible for planning networking, overseeing the budget and marketing of all events in order to make them successful. Lastly, I coordinate all marketing and communication efforts of the GGCC including weekly email blasts, its quarterly newsletter, all social media platforms, media relations and community outreach.
