GGCC 12th Annual Wine Tasting Held
The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) held its 12th Annual Wine Tasting on Thursday, May 21 at the Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg. Over one hundred area business leaders were in attendance.
“Not only is this a great networking event, but it is always a way to sample some of our top restaurants paired with some fantastic wines. Everyone loved this event,” said Marilyn Balcombe, GGCC President.
The event sponsors included: The City of Gaithersburg, Pinky and Pepe’s Grape Escape, The Melting Pot Gaithersburg, Local 301, Not Your Average Joe’s, Brasserie Beck, Asia Nine and Special Event Sponsor Bargain Movers.
This year’s wine tasting featured a guided wine tasting tutorial of five featured wines compliments of Pinky & Pepe of Pinky and Pepe’s Grape Escape.
The wine was paired with delicious food from Local 301, Not Your Average Joe’s, Brasserie Beck and Asia Nine. And fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate were served compliments of the Melting Pot Gaithersburg.
The City of Gaithersburg generously donated the use of the Kentlands Mansion to the GGCC for the evening. And City Councilmember Neil Harris made opening remarks on behalf of the council. Other councilmember’s in attendance included: Ryan Spiegel, Cathy Drzyzgula, Michael Sesma and Henry Marraffa.
The GGCC is active in providing business-to-business networking opportunities throughout the year; a collective voice in local, regional, and state legislative affairs, professional development opportunities and other services that enhance the business environment.
