Get Real Health of Rockville Recognized for Business Deal With Swedish Government (PHOTO & VIDEO)

Montgomery County officials recognize Get Real Health of Rockville at a news conference at the County Executive Office Building on Dec. 8th. In this MyMCMedia Extra video, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett honors Get Real Health for a business deal with the government of Sweden to provide health information technology services.

Today Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett, members of the state and federal governments recognized Get Real Health of Rockville for a business deal with the Swedish government. Get Real Health and the Swedish eHealth Agency will partner to provide Swedish citizens with a patient engagement platform called InstantPHR. InstantPHR is an electronic toolbox that enables doctors to obtain all of patients medical information in one database. Robin Wiener, president and founding partner of Get Real Health said, “We feel honored to be part of this fantastic project that they are bringing to their citizens.”

Montgomery Council Member Sidney Katz said, “Montgomery County can change the world, we really can, and today is just another example of their international reach, so congratulations to Robin and everyone else involved.”

Get Real Health EventGet Real Health specializes in providing PHR (personal health record) services to healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and governments around the world. The company has a global client base having worked on large scale projects in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and within the U.S. according to a press release from the company. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett said, “In 2010 five years after its founding Get Real Health was the Maryland incubator company of the year.” He continued saying, “Montgomery County was pleased to be a partner in the company’s development.”

“Sweden’s selection of Get Real Health highlights America’s leadership as an exporter of health information technology, Maryland’s progressive stance on international trade, and Montgomery County’s effectiveness as an incubator of innovative tech startups,” explained Robin Wiener.
