May 6: Registration starts for Adult Softball Leagues
Cost is $495 for county team, $545.00 for out of county team. Deadline June 1, 2015. Registration will not be taken without payment. 5 weeks of doubleheaders, playoffs for men’s leagues. Food for sale to benefit three local charities’ (Thor Team, Lions Club, and Faith Connections) work in supporting and mentoring local teens via programs, college scholarships, and GED teaching in partnership with Damascus Community Recreation Center. Glenmont Outdoor Pool Long Branch Outdoor Pool Available positions: Pool Operator – must have current Pool Operator’s license, Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Lifeguard – must be 16 and have current Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Pool Aide – must be 14 and willing to take Lifeguard training (position only at Glenmont). Lesson Instructor – must be 15 and have a current Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Cashier – must be 18 and have knowledge of computer operations.
