Germantown Library Offers Small Business Seminars
A series of three seminars related to small business will be presented in March, April and May by SCORE DC mentors at the Germantown Library, 19840 Century Blvd.
The seminars, which will run from 7 – 9 p.m., will be held on the following dates: March 25 “Starting Your Business”; April 24 “Marketing your Business”; and May 20 “Essentials of Recordkeeping and Accounting for Small Business.” A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
In the seminars, mentors from SCORE will discuss factors that will help lead to a successful business, including testing your business idea and readiness, marketing your business, and financial planning and accounting basics.
The series is co-sponsored by SCORE DC and the Germantown Library. SCORE is a 50-year-old nonprofit that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed. The 50+ mentors of the greater Washington DC chapter see clients in 12 locations, including at Rockville Memorial Library. For more information, visit www.washingtondc.score.org.
