In partnership with Montgomery Playhouse, Arts on the Green presents Sherlock Holmes and the Christmas Goose, a family holiday mystery by Virginia Cate and Duke Ernsberger. The show runs December 5 through 21, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $20, $12 for children 14 and under. The show is appropriate for ages 10 and older. For tickets and information call 301.258.6394 or visit the Gaithersburg website.

The world-famous sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his trusty sidekick Doctor Watson are at it again in a Christmas caper mystery fit for the whole family. Embark on this holiday adventure with the crime-solving dynamic duo as they endeavor to unravel the mystery of the missing Blue Delilah Diamond and the fearsome Shropshire Slasher. Who could be behind such dastardly events? The “Genius of the Underworld,” Professor Moriarity? A tale of mystery, intrigue, humor, and “fowl” play await on the trail of this Christmas case. In the end, even the World’s Greatest Detective has a thing or two to learn about the true meaning of Christmas. Based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s story “The Blue Carbuncle”.

Arts on the Green is the City of Gaithersburg’s premier center for the performing and visual arts.  Join us before the show and enjoy wine by the glass, Flying Dog beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in a bistro setting. The Pub is open one hour before the show and during intermission.
