Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn Presents The 39 Steps

In partnership with Sandy Spring Theatre Group, Arts on the Green presents The 39 Steps, a comedic spy mystery adapted by Patrick Barlow. The show runs January 9 through 25, 2015, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $20, $12 for children 14 and under. This show is appropriate for ages 15 and older.

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have the The 39 Steps. In this intriguing and thrilling comedy, a notorious fugitive and a spellbound blonde are hurtled to Scotland’s most remote highlands and must save Britain from a den of devious spies. A cast of four portrays more than 150 characters in this fast-paced tale of an ordinary man on an extraordinary adventure.

Arts on the Green is the city of Gaithersburg’s premier center for the performing and visual arts. The Pub is open one hour before the show and during intermission. Enjoy a glass of wine, Flying Dog beer, or non-alcoholic beverage in a bistro setting.
