Gaithersburg Officials Honor Former Quince Orchard High School Football Star (VIDEO)

The Mayor and City Council of Gaithersburg honored a former Quince Orchard High School football star during a City Council meeting on March 7. After graduating Quince Orchard High School in 2013, Ty Williams enrolled at Georgetown University to study government and play football.

Williams was severely injured during the opening season game for Georgetown in September of last year. In this MyMCMedia video, Williams, family and friends discuss his recovery process and look forward to the future. Willie James Inman reports.
