Gaithersburg Man Faces Assault Charges
Mohammd Hussein Saeed Al-Haris, age 24, was charged with assault related charges and the discharge of a weapon within the city of Gaithersburg limits.
According to police, on January 2, officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department responded to a report of an assault in progress at the 200 block of Ellington Boulevard. Officers determined there was an argument that was occurring in the Old Town Pour House among patrons. After the bar closed, police said the argument continued outside. Two individuals were hit when a pellet gun was discharged, police report. Both victims sustained minor injuries.
The police’s investigation led them to Al-Haris as a suspect. He was arrested June 5 after an arrest warrant was issued.
Al-Haris is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center without bond.
