Gaithersburg Hosts ‘Evenings in Olde Towne’ Concert Series

photo Gaithersburg City Hall Concert PavilionEnd the day on a musical note with “Evenings in Olde Towne,” a free concert series taking place at the City Hall Concert Pavilion on Thursdays in June, July and September. All concerts begin at 6 p.m. Please note there is no concert on July 3.

Wind down the workday with great music in a casual, outdoor setting. Grab some local carryout to enjoy during the concert, or enjoy the music before dining in Olde Towne afterwards. Visit the Fulks Corner Farmers Market, open from 1 to 6 p.m., just two blocks away for fresh produce and more right before the performance. Bring a blanket or low-back chair for lawn seating.

Sept 4 – Diamond Alley: Dance/Rock

Sept 11 – Cluster: Jazz/A Cappella

Sept 18 – Rescue Squad: Classic/Top 40 Rock

Sept 25 – Trio Caliente: Latin Trio

Enjoy outdoor entertainment and activities all summer long at the Concert Pavilion. Heat up your exercise routine as you dance to the Latin rhythms of Zumba on Friday evenings through June 27 and on July 11(no class on May 16). Experience uplifting Gospel music at the 8th Annual Jubilation Day Gospel Extravaganza on May 31. Thursday Morning Kids Concerts delight parents and children alike June 5 through July 31.
