Gaithersburg Hosts Citywide Birthday Party to Celebrate 140 Years

The city of Gaithersburg will host a citywide birthday to celebrate 140 years, according to a news release.

On Thursday April 5, six facilities will be decorated for families to enjoy music, activities, food and more.

Residents can party hop at the following locations:

Casey Community Center

810 S. Frederick Ave.

10 a.m. – Noon

Cake cutting at 11:15 a.m.

Benjamin Gaither Center

80A Bureau Dr.

12:45 – 2 p.m.

Cake cutting at 1 p.m.

Arts Barn

311 Kent Square Rd.

1 – 3 p.m.

Cake cutting at 2 p.m.

Gaithersburg Community Museum

9 S. Summit Ave.

3 – 5 p.m.

Cake cutting at 4 p.m.

Kentlands Mansion

320 Kent Square Rd.

3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Cake cutting at 4:30 p.m.

Activity Center at Bohrer Park

506 S. Frederick Ave.

4 – 6 p.m.

Cake cutting at 5 p.m.

The Gaithersburg Youth Centers in Olde Towne and at Robertson Park will celebrate with member only activities which includes birthday cake, music and trivia games on April 6 from 4 to 5 p.m.
