Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber Raises over $4,000 for Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce’s (GGCC) Construction Direct Connect Group raised $4,361 for Montgomery County Coalition For The Homeless (MCCH) from the groups AutumnFest Happy Hour held at Union Jacks in Gaithersburg.

There are several companies that make up the Direct Connect group including:

Direct Connect is a GGCC program that strategically connects members in smaller groups, called Direct Connect Circles (DCC). Each Circle is composed of GGCC members that have synergistic business goals.

MCCH programs provide permanent supportive housing, emergency shelter and housing, and supportive service to over 1,400 individuals and children.

The GGCC is active in providing business-to-business networking opportunities throughout the year: a collective voice in local, regional, and state legislative affairs, professional development opportunities and other services that enhance the business environment.

Additionally, I am responsible for planning networking, overseeing the budget and marketing of all events in order to make them successful. Lastly, I coordinate all marketing and communication efforts of the GGCC including weekly email blasts, its quarterly newsletter, all social media platforms, media relations and community outreach.
