Gaithersburg Police Arrest Suspect (Photo)

Detectives from the Gaithersburg Police Department arrested 28-year-old Jose Benito Sanchez of Girard Street in Gaithersburg, MD on January 11, 2013. Sanchez was charged with indecent exposure.

On November 20, 2012, Gaithersburg Police responded to the 400 block of Girard Street for the report of an indecent exposure that occurred earlier that day. Upon arriving, officers spoke with the victim who stated as she was walking through the parking lot she observed a Hispanic male standing in an open window completely naked looking at her as he fondled himself.

During the investigation, Sanchez was developed as a suspect. Detectives are asking that if you believe you have been a victim of such a crime and/or have witnessed a similar crime, please contact the Gaithersburg Police Investigations Section at 301-258-6400.

Sanchez is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center. Bond information is unavailable at this time.
