Apartment Fire
Montgomery County firefighters battled an apartment fire early today (Feb. 18) in the 100 block of South Frederick Avenue at Cedar Avenue in Gaithersburg.
On his Twitter account, Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham said there were no injuries in the second floor apartment blaze.
During the incident, police closed Cedar Avenue from Frederick Avenue to George Street. The road has now reopened.
