Future of Wheaton Library and Recreation Center (VIDEO)

The plan for the new library and recreation center for the Wheaton community is getting a second look because of concerns over cost. It’s currently estimated the cost of the project will be $89 million and county officials say that number is forcing them to review the scope of the plan to bring that number down. However, Montgomery County Councilmember Nancy Navarro says she wants to make sure residents get what they were promised. Susan Kenedy has the story.
