Frederick County Extends Outdoor Burning Ban Today

The Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office has extended the total ban on outdoor burning through 4 p.m. today, March 14.

All outdoor burning, including recreational fires, is prohibited.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement earlier this morning for Frederick County that stated conditions consisting of low relative humidity and low fuel moisture will enhance the threat for the spread of wildfires.
