Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives seek to remove President Donald Trump just eight days before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

Rep. Jamie Raskin introduced a resolution on Monday based on the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office.

The House of Representatives will vote on the resolution calling on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, but what legal significance does it have and what are the chances of removing the president from office?
