Food Drive at Giant This Weekend
The Montgomery County Muslim Foundation (MCMF) is holding the second half of their food drive this weekend at local Giant Food stores! Last weekend brought in thousands of pounds of food for Manna, and we hope this weekend will be even more of a success.
Last year, the MCMF brought in over 10,000 pounds of food for Manna. During our slower times (for food donations) like the spring and summer, Manna relies on the generosity of the community and foundations like MCMF to help us continue to feed the thousands of residents who rely on our help. In March alone, Manna saw almost 4,000 families – that’s 600 above our monthly average for last year! Help us continue to never turn away clients by contributing to the food drive this weekend, or holding your own by emailing fooddrive@mannafood.org. You’ll receive our handy healthy food drive wish list and some great ideas on how to hold a creative drive in your office, church, or neighborhood.
