Floreen and Elrich Discuss Term Limits (VIDEOS)

A proposed term limit referendum that would impact some elected officials in Montgomery County, and supported by Republican activist Robin Ficker, may be on the ballot this coming November.

In the MyMCMedia Extra videos below, Montgomery County Council President Nancy Floreen and Councilmember Marc Elrich talk about their views on the term limit issue.

“My view is that we already have term limits, that they’re every four years,” Floreen said.

“I think it takes the choice of who represents people out of the hands of people,” Elrich said.

Councilmember George Leventhal and Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett also recently weighed in on the term limit issue as well.
