Flags Lowered to Half-Staff to Honor Cummings

Gov. Larry Hogan has ordered U.S. and Maryland flags to be lowered to half-staff to honor U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings.

The Maryland Secretary of State’s office, which publishes the status of flags, said this about Cummings:

Congressman Cummings leaves behind an incredible legacy of fighting for Baltimore City and working to improve people’s lives. He was a passionate and dedicated public servant whose countless contributions made our state and our country better.”
