Flags Lowered to Half Staff

President Barack Obama has ordered the United States Flag to be flown at half-staff immediately in respect for the  victims of the mass shootings on September 16, at the Washington Navy Yard.

The flags shall remain at half-staff until sunset on September 20.

Therefore, Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the Maryland State Flag to also be flown at half-staff immediately and remain at half-staff until sunset on September 20.
