Flags Lowered to Half Staff (Photo)

President Barack Obama has ordered the United States Flag to be flown at half-staff immediately in memory of the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on April 15 in Boston, Massachusetts.

The flags shall remain at half-staff until sunset on April 20.

In addition, Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the Maryland State Flag to also be flown at half-staff immediately and remain at half-staff until sunset on April 20.
