1. Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) officials are phasing out some final exams in high school courses, and they want your input about potential changes to the grading policy and options.

2. Rockville’s Nov. 3rd election ballot is now complete. Find out who is running for Mayor and Council, here.

3. Concerned with water main breaks?  The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is holding a budget hearing tonight in Rockville on the proposed FY 2017-2022 Capital Improvements Program. The six-year CIP proposes planning, design and construction expenditures for major water and sewer projects.

4. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced appointments to the Commission on Hispanic Affairs this week, and you may recognize some of the members.

5.  Music Together kicks off the preschool storytime program this morning at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library.
