1. Montgomery County’s offices, schools and libraries are closed today. Find out what’s open and what’s not in Montgomery County, here.

2. The Town of Kensington is hosting its 49th annual Labor Day Parade and Festival beginning at 10 a.m. today.

3. The city of Gaithersburg’s 78th annual Labor Day Parade begins at 1 p.m. in Olde Towne.

4. At Seneca Creek State Park today, you can take pontoon tours at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and before that there’s a Reptile Encounters event on the calendar at noon.

5. The Labor Day Art Show continues at Glen Echo Park.
